The position will serve as the point person to provide application support all the way through course enrollment. Owns the application process and closure of application to enrollment. The position will also serve as the backup for the domestic admissions advisor.
Assist prospective students with the application process, including (but not limited to):
Ensuring that incomplete applications are completed in a timely manner; providing students information they need during the process
Work with other graduate admissions staff members to ensure prompt review and acceptance of students.
Conduct interviews with international students during the application review process, if needed.
Follow up to assist with the conversion and yielding of newly-admitted students
Conduct calling and email campaigns as needed
Assist in the graduate recruitment process as requested
Participation in on-campus and off-campus events as needed, including nights and weekends
Be available to travel to graduate fairs and events both internationally and local
Work closely with the office of graduate affairs, student life, international services, student organizations etc to ensure accurate and consistent information is provided to prospective/new students
Use the CRM/Marketing Campaign tool efficiently to closely monitor yield as indicated in targets set forth for the department.
Provide weekly status reports to the Director or other delegated individuals about inquiries, conversions or similar reports needed to determine progress made towards enrollment targets.
Stay current on university policies and procedures, school/college-wide policies, and global educational trends affecting graduate students.
