Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in international studies, education, or related field preferred. Must have a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in study abroad/international education, student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to understand and support the pursuit of SEVIS documentations. Must be able to work collaboratively with university departments. Must have some familiarity with student records system, knowledge of Banner preferred. Must have excellent speaking skills and proficiency with technology to include experience with website publications and maintenance. Experience living, working or studying abroad is preferred. Experience analyzing and interpreting data is preferred. Proficiency in one or more languages in addition to English is preferred. Must be able to work non-traditional work hours as needed (evenings, weekends, summer) to participate in University events and accommodate various time zones and to respond to international student and scholar needs and emergencies. International and domestic travel is required. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, which is necessary for accessing SEVIS.
