Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required plus 3 years of professional experience working in the field of international education, international relations.
U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residence status required by U.S. federal regulations for DSO/ARO certification.
Cross-cultural communication work and /or experience living/studying abroad.
Knowledge of H-1B and/or J-1 visa regulations and immigration application processing required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and public speaking skills.
Ability to apply discretionary judgment skills and maintain confidentiality and appropriately work with sensitive communication with students, faculty, staff and outside agencies.
Preferences: Master’s degree in International Education, Student Counseling, or other relevant degree.
Experience maintaining SEVIS records and immigration files for government compliance requirements.
Ability to compose and give presentations.
Knowledge of the major information sources for international educators.
Knowledge of a language other than English.
Ability to create efficient and organized processes.
Desire to continue to learn about new ideas, methods and subjects.
