The Recruitment Associate is involved with fulfilling staffing needs for overseas educational institutions looking for qualified ESL instructors from abroad.
◊ Building applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, agencies, and online recruitment sites
◊ Attracting teacher applicants via job postings (primarily online) such as Craigslist, GoOverseas. com, Indeed.com, etc. Along with creating and maintaining job postings at local universities’ career center to attract new graduates
◊ Coordinating with Wilshire Global Consulting Marketing department to create preliminary brochures and print material for the purpose of promoting the Teaching Overseas program
◊ Coordinating with Wilshire Global Consulting’s Chinese liaison to determine the needs of each individual Chinese client along with ascertaining specific offered benefits (ex: transportation stipend, housing, bonuses, etc.)
◊ Determining applicant qualifications by directly interviewing applicants (via direct meetings or Skype), analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements
◊ Determining and selecting which qualifying applicants were best suited to specific Chinese client requirements (example: did they need a TESOL, Master’s degree, etc.)
◊ Referring best suited teacher candidates to primary Chinese liaison for client final selection process
◊ Coordinating, arranging and facilitating online Skype interviews between Chinese employer and prospective final applicants as needed
◊ Extending initial job offers to applicants along with facilitating explanation of benefits, job duties, and compensation. Further facilitate signing of candidate job contract agreements.
◊ Providing initial orientation and on-boarding information to selected teacher candidates along with disseminating info on outgoing flight information and assisting in acquiring needed travel documents.
