Job Details
Colorado State University is accepting applications for the Associate Director of Education Abroad. The Associate Director is the administrative professional responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 60-70 faculty- or staff-led programs through all stages. These responsibilities include developing new faculty- or staff-led programs and overseeing the administrative functions of the Office of International Programs (OIP)-managed faculty-led programs. Responsibilities also include budget management and account approvals for 60+ accounts totaling over $1 million in expenses; student program orientation and marketing materials; training CSU professional staff and faculty about best practices in the field; contributing to campus-wide curriculum integration initiatives; and cultivating relationships with faculty, departments and administrative support units to create and sustain education abroad opportunities. This position will also serve as administrative back-up for the Director on personnel and administrative needs for all OIP-managed programs. This position is based in Fort Collins and reports to the Director of Education Abroad. The position works predominantly in person on the CSU campus with the potential for some flexibility in work arrangements.
