The Student Coordinator is responsible for supporting SIH mission and goals to positively impact recruitment, retention, experiential learning and career outcomes; serving as career liaison for students and schools with regard to career development, clinical assignments, co-ops, internships, job placement and student observations.

$17.35/hr minimum - $26.01/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)

Responsibilities

• Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential students.
• Assists in orientation of new students.
• Follows up with students, school representatives and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
• Manages student files and retention according to company policy.
• Develops and maintains internship, job shadowing and clinical assignment policies and procedures.
• Maintains student database to ensure all students are meeting the required legal and regulatory guidelines established for their assignment.
• Assists in developing and conducting presentations, workshops and other special outreach programs.
• Supports student engagement, employer relations, student employment, experiential learning and programming and event initiatives.
• Acts as Career Liaison to specified colleges or initiatives:
• Provides group and individual career advising and assist with obtaining experiential learning and job opportunities
• Provides career advising, presentations and instructions to assist students in their career decision-making process.
• Works with faculty in assigned colleges to increase opportunities to present career content in the classroom.
• Assists in planning and managing specific career programs and events such as Career Fairs.
• Assists with developing campus outreach programs to include virtual and in-person information sessions to engage students and faculty.
• Coordinates campus-wide programming efforts with students, faculty and other campus departments.
• Develops and coordinates communications to students and faculty about events and programs.
• Assists with monitoring of student workers and their assigned projects; and performs administrative duties required in ending student relationship.
• Assists with marketing strategies to connect students to SIH opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor€™s degree in Education, Healthcare Management, Communications/Marketing, Human Resources or related field
• COVID vaccination
