Ready to be a part of something big? We are looking for individuals who want to market, recruit and enroll at-risk youth into the Job Corps Program. Job Corps provides free education, housing, meals and job training to our under served youth. We need admissions counselors to get the word out about the benefits of Job Corps.
Our team members enjoy competitive wage of $20.50 per hour, affordable health, dental, and prescription drug insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, flexible schedules, 401(k) with company match, and a chance to make a difference every day!
Essential Functions:
Conduct innovative outreach activities with public service agencies, community organizations, schools and individuals who might refer eligible candidates to the Job Corps program. Interview interested candidates and obtain pertinent information on each one. Prepare documentation on potential students. Maintain monthly goals. Create network with youth development agencies, one-stop agencies, churches and community organizations to provide a wide-base for recruiting of potential students.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field; or Associate’s degree and two years related experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.
