Responsibilities and Duties
Oversee the transfer admissions functions including directly supervising the senior transfer staff and managing the entire transfer team. Responsible for hiring and onboarding staff members, providing continuous training and development, completing annual performance reviews and feedback to assist with performance improvement, professional development, and skills/competency development.Serve as the primary source of information for transfer students regarding transfer issues, policies, and practices. Evaluate, perform, and supervise the transfer application review, evaluation process of transfer credits, and articulation agreements. Assist in the development and maintenance of technology solutions that support a digital academic record and degree audit system.Assist with the development of strategic recruitment/marketing plan and territory management for in-state & out-of-state markets. Research statistical analysis with multiple data sources to assist with recruitment efforts and yield initiatives. Use data to develop an understanding of the state & national landscape while also implementing a comprehensive national recruitment plan designed to attract and enroll competitive students. Be the primary liaison with academic departments regarding the evaluation of transfer courses offered by post-secondary institutions in Maryland. Assist with MHEC policy and revisions as they occur, concerning the articulation of courses and general education for transfer students.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree with five or more years of experience. Supervisory Experience required.Knowledge of student information or client relationship management systems preferred.Experience/Familiarity of College Admissions or Higher Education preferred.
