Job Summary Responsible for all processes necessary to ensure that accurate and proper documentation of materials for individuals seeking admissions to the university are submitted and maintained in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, International Education, and Dual Enrollment.Responsibilities * Undergraduate & Dual Enrollment Processing *

Assists in the management of staff responsible for the admission of students and is responsible for the coordination of all activities related to the determination of decisions for admission Assists with the supervision of the entry and maintenance of student information into Banner, XAP, and other third party produces used for and admissions of students to the university Assists with ensuring the adoption of technology that will have an effective positive change to the business processes and practices required for admitting students to the university Analyzes and evaluates situations, processes and procedures to determine or recommend best business practices and recommends changes as needed Provides leadership in procedural design to staff with the interpretation of BOR rules, policies and regulations to identify mechanisms for compliance with guidelines while facilitating the needs for successful new academic programs Assists with the completion of public reports, documents, schedules, records and forms Participates in strategic networking and community outreach to advance the university brand locally, regionally and nationally Assists with the coordination of print, media and online communications to develop a dynamic institutional communications plan to prospective and admitted students Assists with the development, maintenance and execution of the department’s communication plan to prospective and admitted students Assist with the evaluation and execution of exceptional processing for admission decision on applicant files Assists with the development and monitoring of statistical reports to enhance strategies, yield management, forecasting, and operational efficiency Supports development, implementation, and assessment of the Undergraduate Admissions and unit plan * International Education Processing & Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) *

Serves as the International Student and Scholar Advisor (ISSA)/PDSO Position Serves to enroll and retain international students and ensure ASU SEVIS is certified every two years. Ensures that both the university and international students complies with Department of Home Land Security (DHS) regulations. The details of the duties are in the job description. Maintain institutional compliance with federal regulations governing the enrollment of international students and scholars within the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), including maintaining university immigration compliance and I-17 recertification for 1-20 Issuance to undergraduate and graduate students Serve as a Primary Designated School Official (PDSO) authorized by the Department of State to issue immigration documents and grant immigration benefits to students in F-1 and M-1 status, as well as process transfers and other PDSO duties Collaborate with Admission’s and related Offices to enroll international students Coordinate issuance of initial I-20 immigration forms with estimated expenses to admitted students. Support academic and department administrators as well as admitted F students with immigration and visa related pre-arrival inquiries. Update required data, annual DSO verification, SEVIS registration and similar compliance matters Maintain international student and scholar statistics and improve international student and scholar reporting on campus and to USG; Provide leadership with regard to communications with Homeland Security-SEVP Office on behalf of students and the university; Interact with other Designated School Officials (DSO) to ensure consistent protocol regarding policies and procedures; Participate in the two annual System Council on International Student and Scholar/PDSO meetings to receive updates from the System Office Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 to 3 years admissions experience with a progressive experience Experience should include but is not limited to: ERP/CRM (preferred), SPSS (or other 3rd party reporting tools), Social Networking, and a general understanding of other software tools used in the course of enrollment and matriculation Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, facilitation and presentation skills Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory experience managing professional and student staff is preferredProposed Salary Salary range is from $50,000 to $55,000
