GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This position will be part of the strategic enrollment planning direction for international growth, and therefore will work collaboratively with members of UG Admissions, Graduate Admission and Global Affairs to ensure that adequate support will align with growth goals

As a central position to both undergraduate and graduate international admission strategy, this position will lead a team of international admission staff to primarily oversee the international admission process for both ug and graduate students(as deemed appropriate), while finding synergies between both levels/populations.

Working closely with International Enrollment leadership and Global Affairs this position will provide necessary focus, support and execution for the strategic direction of a unified international enrollment unit, while implementing day-to-day prioritization in an effort to stay agile in an ever changing, dynamic environment

Special Schedule Requirements

Evening and weekend hours may be required depending on admissions cycle.

Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Masters degree; or Bachelors with substantial relevant work experience

5-7 years of work experience; with leadership and management experience required

Knowledge & Skills

  • Exceptional leadership and supervision skills, with a high comfort level managing staff remotely and locally
  • Experience working with budget and data analytics
  • An understanding of the core principles of marketing to international students, international recruiting, and international admissions and student immigration processes required;

Key Responsibility

Under the general direction International enrollment leadership, this position has the primary responsibility for the leadership/oversight of day-today engagement and admission for international student population at Illinois Tech through management of an international admissions team

Create data sets and reports through admissions system to track progres

Key Responsibility

Connecting and working collaboratively with our Global Affairs team, this position will help execute a well integrated international enrollment plan.

This position will also serve as main contact for our overseas offices in terms of admission(system) support and marketing needs

Key Responsibility

Working collaboratively with UG and Graduate Admissions offices, enhance and implement specific/purposeful international communication pieces to build strong relationships with prospective students, families, agencies, partners, faculty, staff, and other organizations

Work with marketing/PR to design and distribution of international recruitment materials including print, online, and other media

Percentage Of Time 20%

Key Responsibility

Use technology, system(s) and industry trends to continuously innovate efficiencies that align with strategic growth initiatives through the admissions process. Strong command of C.R.M. and admission/immigration data to understand path to meet head and revenue goals.
