*About the Department:*The Poole College of Management at NC State University is home to approximately 3700 undergraduate students. The College offers majors in accounting, business administration and economics. The Office of Undergraduate Programs in the College provides academic and administrative support for students, prospective students, and college faculty engaged in undergraduate education. Areas of emphasis include academic advising, admissions, global engagement, diversity and inclusion, career development, curriculum planning, and student professional development.
*Essential Job Duties:*The Associate Director of Admissions in the Poole College of Management at NC State University is a full-time, 12-month administrative position (EHRA) that reports directly to the Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs.

*Job duties include:*

* Planning and implementing yield strategies
* Coordination and administration of first-year and transfer student recruitment programs
* Oversight of the Poole College of Management Student Ambassadors
* Representation of Poole College to various university committees and offices
* Supervision of up to three student workers
* Leadership responsibilities in the Office of Undergraduate Programs

*Primary Responsibilities*:
* Design, develop, and implement strategies to attract and yield the undergraduate students who are best aligned with the unique experience Poole College has to offer
* Create and manage specialized strategies tailored to recruit and yield underrepresented populations
* Oversee freshman student recruitment including all planning for participation in University events (University Open House, Experience NC State, Park Scholar Finalist Weekend, Pack Preview, etc.), Poole specific recruitment events (international - focused feeder schools, DECA conference, etc), planning and delivery of Poole weekly Information Sessions for prospective students and families
* Plan all Freshman yield events such as Poole Preview, Experience NC State, Calling Campaign, etc.
* Coordinate transfer student recruitment including meeting with prospective students, attending transfer fairs at local community colleges, and developing relationships with advising staff at local feeder community colleges
* Oversee the communication and evaluation of transfer students regarding curriculum and expected progress to degree
* Manage all development and supervision of Poole College student ambassador program as advisor including recruitment, selection and training of all members; supervision of officers and event leaders; and supervision of members at college events
* Represent Poole College enrollment management via collaboration with University Enrollment Management and Student Services (EMAS)
* Represent Poole College on various university-wide committees such as University Open House Committee, ASPSA Advisory Board, Recruiters Roundtable, etc.
* Partner and liase with Poole College development office and marketing/communications office
* Create, implement, and manage internal processes to track high impact activities that yield target populations
* Supervise up to 1.0 FTE staff member and 3 student staff
*Other Responsibilities:*Contributing member of Poole College of Management and Office of Undergraduate Programs: active participation in unit programs and events (numerous evenings and weekends required); assistance with academic advising as needed (registration advising sessions and orientations); supervision of various student workers in office; leader in website development and other communications within office.
Other duties as assigned.
*Minimum Education and Experience:*
* Require post-baccalaureate credentials or a bachelor’s degree plus alternative or equivalent professional training and experience may be substituted for the advanced degree on an exceptional basis.
*Other Required Qualifications:*
* Strong speaking and presentation skills across cultural differences required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
* Ability to compile and organize data for the purposes of client relationship management.
* Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with collegiality.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Knowledge of SIS, MyPack, Admissions Pros, Slate, Hubspot. Proficiency in basic website development software.
*Required License(s) or Certification(s):*
* Valid Driver’s License required.
