Position Description:
Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions:
- Advise students, parents, high school counselors and other entities on the financial aid process through in-office meetings, front counter, special events, orientation and presentations.
- Oversee, manage, and mentor Financial Aid advising team. Provide training to staff as needed.
- Monitor policies and procedures specific to areas of client services to ensure compliance with respect to Title IV federal student aid for each area/specific function within the Office of Student Financial Aid.
- Make adjustments to student financial aid awards in an effort to maintain compliance with federal and state programs.
- Represent student financial aid and Texas Tech University at recruiting, outreach and scholarship events throughout the state.
- Attend local and University events as a representative of TTU Student Financial Aid.
- Assist Senior Director of Student Services as needed.
