*Posting Summary:*Provide leadership and oversight of the day-to-day activities of Regional Recruitment forthe University’s domestic recruitment of diverse and academically qualified undergraduate students, within the framework of the university’s enrollment targets and consistent with the mission and annual objectives of the admissions office. Select, train, and supervise Regional Recruiters. Use data to track and evaluate effectiveness. Manage regional recruitment travel. Manage a geographic recruitment territory and conduct activities to support the recruitment of academically qualified and diverse first year and transfer students. Conduct large and small group presentations on and off campus, visit high schools, attend college fairs, and represent the University of Vermont. Build effective relationships with schools, CBOs, students, and families within the territory. Communicate regularly with prospective students and parents. Review applications and make admissions decisions. Independently plan and execute recruitment strategies and events in a regional territory. Serve as an application review liaison. Serve as enrollment management professional for regional recruitment within the framework of the University’s enrollment targets and consistent with the mission and annual objectives of the admissions office.
*Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):*Bachelor’s degree and three years of admissions/territory management experience required. Demonstrated multicultural competency and a commitment to recruit a diverse student population. Effective communication skill, both oral and written, required. Computer literacyand a comfort with technology required. Ability to travel required. Ability to work independently and also collaborate in groups.
*Desirable Qualifications:*Residency in the most populated/central area of recruitment territory and familiarity within territory preferred.

*Special Conditions:*Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, Position located in different city, Non-standard work hours required, Travel to and from worksites required, Open to current UVM employees only , A probationary period may be required
