Job Description Summary

Penn Engineering Online is seeking a remote, part-time temporary Admissions Reader to work 4 - 25 hours/week during admissions cycles from February 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022.

Expected dates for work:

February 1, 2022 - April 15, 2022

April 1, 2022 - June 15, 2022

July 1, 2022 - September 15, 2022

September 1, 2022 - November 1, 2022

Job Description

Admissions Readers are an integral part of the Admissions process for the Penn Engineering Online program. We hire Admissions Readers to review applications ensuring that every application we receive is reviewed according to our program's guidelines. Admissions Readers have two primary responsibilities which include reviewing documentation and evaluating each application using a rubric.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Excellent time management skills and able to work in a deadline-driven environment

+ Great written communication skills

+ Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little to no supervision

+ Strong organizational skills

+ Must maintain University policies in keeping confidentiality of personal information associated with applicants

+ At least one year of data entry experience

+ Comfortable with using computer programs and Google Suite

+ Previous experience in Higher Education or Admissions is preferred but not required

+ Must comply with University's vaccine and testing policy
