College Admission Counselor

Job Type: Part-time

Starting Rate: $75-100 per hour plus performance bonus.

Self- Determined Hours:

• Monday to Friday - days or evenings
• Weekends (at least a few hours one day)

Newton, Massachusetts-based admission company with an excellent reputation is seeking dedicated admission professionals for in person and virtual college and private school counseling meetings. Three to five years of direct college counseling and/or college admission experience is preferred. Familiarity with all aspects of college admission or private school admission is required. Company will provide training in its proprietary methodologies and software. Counselors must have excellent interpersonal skills, and the desire to help students reach aspirational goals such as entry into Ivy League colleges and top private schools. The perfect candidate will have:

• A degree and/or counseling certificate from a highly competitive US college or university.

• At least three years of college and/or private school admission experience with a strong record of success helping students gain admission to highly competitive colleges

• Excellence in providing online and live lessons.

• Excellent writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience using the Common Application and Naviance.

• Experience with Gateway, Ravenna, and SAO preferred, but not required.
