The University of South Dakota is seeking an energetic, goal-oriented, self-motivated individual for the position of Associate Director of Admissions at the USD-Sioux Falls campus. In collaboration with the Dean of Enrollment, this position will provide leadership to the enrollment efforts at the USD-Sioux Falls campus. The successful candidate will be empowered to be creative in recommending and implementing recruitment strategies in the Sioux Falls region that will contribute to enrollment efforts at both the Sioux Falls campus and Vermillion campus.

Responsibilities include managing and implementing the undergraduate admissions process for the Sioux Falls campus and online students; representing the University at high schools and recruiting events; assisting with on- and off-campus recruitment programs; meeting with prospective students and families; participating in the evaluation and selection of applicants for admission; using Salesforce to analyze and track recruitment data; contributing to overall enrollment management goals; assisting in other duties as assigned. The position also supervises an admissions counselor located on the Sioux Falls campus.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, valid driver's license required and a flexible schedule for travel as well as some night/evening and weekend work is required. Related admissions, marketing or higher education experience is preferred. Knowledge of the University of South Dakota departments and admissions standards is desirable.

Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be self-starters, be creative in developing recruiting opportunities and be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, Banner and Salesforce.
