E-Sports Coach

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education requirements is a High School Diploma. Preferred to have experience with the Michigan High School E-Sports Federation and games listed below:

Overwatch, Valorant, Rocket League, Fortnite, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, and League of Legends.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Foster a community that builds on teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for gaming. Develop an inclusive, friendly, and supportive team culture for all community members
  • Ability to set-up/maintain a school and/or individual Twitch and Discord channels and servers
  • Discover the satisfaction of sharing your skills and helping students in grades 6-12 achieve their goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, especially regarding practice planning and managing the logistics of tournaments and scrimmages with our E-Sports club. Practices should focus on improving teamwork, communication, and technical skills.
  • Act as a representative of WAY Michigan and MiHSEF by understanding all league rules and regulations and assuring compliance and consistency among athletes
  • Deliver performance results, including individual and team goals to Building Director each season.
  • Help with Planning and execution of projects as assigned by Director.

Salary: $1,500 per Season or $3,000 for the year (Spring and Fall). Schedule of hours to be set with Director during onboarding.
