Job summary
Are you passionate about building the processes and mechanisms that help future cloud learners become skilled cloud professionals? If you have the experience and entrepreneurial skill it takes to develop new global programs, the AWS Training and Certification team has an opportunity for you. We're seeking a leader with successful on-line student admissions program development experience to help us build and deliver next-generation cloud talent training programs.
This person will use their expertise to design and lead T&C student admissions programs that create successful learners who become qualified cloud job-seekers. This role will be accountable for fostering a commitment to student admission excellence - prioritizing diversity, and inclusion that results in employable cloud builders. To be successful in this role, you must be a highly motivated, strategic leader who thinks big, executes effectively, and can deliver on the details while not losing sight of the big picture. The right candidate will have designed and built innovative student admissions programs and is inspired to create a personalized, exceptional student experience.
Key job responsibilities
•Lead the creation, iteration, and management of a student admissions strategy, including the development of nimble and responsive systems that support student equity and inclusion
•Explore, test, and implement innovative mechanisms that accelerate effective admissions decision making
•Create and implement a strategy to increase both the quality and quantity of new learners who apply to and are accepted by T&C training programs
•Create the conditions for program acceptance, including assessments which increase application rates and participation by historically under-represented learners
•Gather insights/student feedback to inform strategic recommendations to business teams, leadership, and external organizations to solve student-centered challenges
