Assists in the delivery and coordination of student services and activities. Provides administrative functions in support of a school, academic department, or program. Assists in counseling and advisement of students.
The Student Services Assistant will provide administrative and advising support to the doctor of medicine program Office of Student Affairs. Duties include:
* Calendar management for the Associate and Assistant Deans of Student Affairs
* Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and minutes; follow up on action items
* Plan student events for academic support and wellness
* Prepare newsletters, flyers, invitations and other correspondence
* Respond to questions from students in person, by phone and refer to Student Affairs
* Manage student worker/tutor onboarding
* Provide administrative support to the academic and career advising unit.
Minimum Education: Related undergraduate study, Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Minimum Field of Expertise: Administrative and/or academic support services
