Position Summary
ISEP is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager who is eager to increase access to and participation in study abroad. The Marketing Communications Manager focuses on B2B communications and events for staff at ISEP member and affiliate universities. Under the leadership of the Director of Marketing and Communications, the manager will create and implement a B2B email marketing plan using Wild Apricot, develop print and digital marketing materials, plan industry events, and support virtual meetings, workshops, and presentations. The ideal candidate should be a strategic and creative thinker who enjoys tackling a variety of shifting responsibilities each day in a collaborative team environment. This position requires someone committed to understanding the programmatic and academic details of ISEP programs. Previous experience in a study abroad organization, university study abroad office, or other international education environment is strongly preferred.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Director of Enrollment Management, and the Member Relations team, write and execute segmented email marketing campaigns in line with ISEP’s strategic goals using our AMS (Wild Apricot) Assist with developing and executing ISEP’s virtual and in-person event strategy to increase awareness of ISEP programs and achieve membership and affiliate goals outlined in ISEP’s strategic plan. This may include organizing event logistics, creating event invitations, managing RSVPs, serving as the main point of contact for inquiries, and running day-of event coordination, in person or online Research and write marketing copy for ISEP programs to be used for presentations, program webpages, flyers, and social media Manage ISEP’s external program listings on Terra Dotta, Via TRM, and Studio Abroad Update webpages, flyers, and marketing materials that feature ISEP programs, including custom materials for specific institutions upon request using Adobe InDesign Partner with Member Relations to support the ISEP Council of Advisors Community Coffee Hours and other community events Using LinkedIn and Twitter, engage with international education professionals and the ISEP community on current trends, news, and research Support ISEP staff conference attendance through research and materials Ensure brand consistency and messaging across ISEP platforms and within the ISEP community
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, creative writing, global studies, or related field 3+ years of experience in communications, higher education administration, or international education Excellent writing, editing, and cross-cultural communication skills, as evidenced by application materials Willingness to learn ISEP’s programs at a level of depth that will allow for the creation of compelling and accurate materials Excellent customer service Mission-driven commitment to increasing study abroad participation worldwide Commitment to diversity and inclusion in international education
