Position Summary

Manage the logistics for local, digital and national artistic review and admissions process for Department of Drama. Interpret and communicate admissions criteria to prospective students. Recommend initiatives to improve communication with prospective applicant pool. Respond to inquiries about departmental admission, financial aid and artistic review process. Support and administer on and off-site admissions events. Administer budget and reconcile escalated discrepancies. Manage student ambassadors. Assist with developing strategies for achieving enrollment goals.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in theatre or a related fieldRequired Experience:3+ years of relevant experience in admissions and recruitment,supervision and budget management.Preferred Experience:3+ years advising actors or acting students regarding theatre training, including audition experience.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Demonstrated proficiency with various software applications and Information databases (i.e. Microsoft Office & Google Suite, scheduling, and payment systems). Ability to manage large-scale admissions processes and schedules.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Familiarity with New York professional theatre community. Demonstrated proficiency with various software applications and Information databases (i.e Slate and Filemaker Pro)

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $90,075. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
