You will join a collaborative team of education abroad professionals who are passionate about providing all CoE students with opportunities to gain meaningful international experiences. As the International Programs Manager you will have primary responsibility for managing the International Minor for Engineers, coordinating the support for student organization travel, and leading IPE's curricular integration strategies. You will also help develop IPE's re-entry programming to support students returning from abroad. You will assist with student advising, application processing, program promotion, pre-departure preparations and support students while abroad. You will help maintain strong global partnerships and administrative support for IPE programs in order to meet goals and ensure results. You will report to the IPE Assistant Director.

What You'll Do
  • Provide overall program management for: the International Minor for Engineers; the student organization travel approval process; a designated number of education abroad programs; IPE scholarships and funding; curricular integration and the transfer credit approval process
  • Develop and strengthen our re-entry programming and support services for students returning from international programs
  • Administer student assessment, gather feedback, and provide suggestions for continued program development and improvement.
  • Co-develop content and present at a variety of IPE events, workshops and staff training sessions.
  • Advise students individually or as a group on program requirements, applications, and the travel proposal process; address questions or concerns from a student-centered perspective
  • Maintain positive, frequent, and meaningful engagement with our collaborators to support international experiences for students.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision: serve as a member of the IPE Leadership Team and Advising Team; mentor IPE colleagues, and supervise student staff
