Occupational Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions, the Admissions CRM Specialist will work to maintain and improve processes within the Admission customer relationship management (CRM) system, Slate. This individual will also serve as one of the primary SIS users in the admissions office. They will assist all admissions teams with functionality in the Admission CRM and data reconciliation between Admission CRM, SIS, and PowerFAIDS. This role serves as the liaison between other areas of the University and their data systems that intersect with admissions.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the admissions personnel to create, improve, and maintain processes within the admissions CRM.
  • Work with Information Technology, Registrar, and Institutional Research to facilitate transmission of information.
  • Maintain documentation for processes within the CRM.
  • Provide training for personnel involved with the admissions process.
  • Update/build reports and queries within the admissions CRM.
  • Build, manage, and maintain integrations between the admissions CRM and other software systems, including third-party systems.
  • Coordinate and perform cycle prep and other necessary software maintenance in the admissions CRM.
  • Stay current with new Best Practices and features in CRM.
  • Create and test new processes.
  • Validate and monitor data for discrepancies
  • Attend director level meetings as needed and provide reports as requested by the VP.
  • Support the admissions team at all on and off campus events as needed.
  • Complete all University-required trainings.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Required Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Related experience preferred, especially with CRM (Slate).
  • Previous admissions experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and research skills.
  • Strong computing, analytical and reasoning skills; well-organized and results-oriented.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills; ability to get along well with diverse personalities; tactful and flexible; team player.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
