Reporting to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, the Senior Director of Student Services provides the data-driven leadership and direction necessary to recruit, retain, and graduate undergraduate students to meet the College of Engineering's mission and goals for the City, Scott, and East campus programs in Lincoln and Omaha. Directly overseeing the college's outreach, recruitment, enrollment, scholars program, advising, retention & success, development initiatives, and career services for undergraduate students; the Senior Director works with a team of 25+ full-time professional staff in Engineering Student Services (ESS) to ensure that all programs and services offered are comprehensive, coordinated, and delivered at a high level in order to meet undergraduate enrollment goals. The Senior Director works collaboratively with partners in the college and university to ensure budgets are followed and business processes are efficient, effective, and well documented. The position will work collaboratively with department faculty to ensure faculty understand the scope and impact of services provided to undergraduate students inESSon an annual basis.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Educational Administration, Student Affairs or related field plus 5 years of professional experience in leading people, program and project management, strategic planning and implementation, data driven decision making, business process documentation and analysis, and budgeting and budget management required. Must have extensive knowledge of student services. Excellent communication and leadership skills necessary. Wide range of administrative knowledge and best practices of K-12 outreach, recruitment, academic advising and/or counseling, student development, student retention and success, career advising and program evaluation essential. Equivalent experience and education in aSTEMdiscipline or field will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D or Ed.D in Higher Education, Leadership, Student Affairs or any engineering discipline preferred. Demonstrated success leading and implementing enrollment growth initiatives desirable. Previous experience working in a centralized enrollment management unit such as admissions, financial aid, registrar, etc. helpful. Prefer demonstrated understanding ofCRM, IT and marketing interface as it relates to the recruiting of undergraduate students.
