Summary

The Director of Admissions Marketing and Financial Aid for the Lauder Institute plans and executes a data-driven approach to: 1) marketing strategy; 2) recruitment, yield and matriculation strategy; and 3) financial aid allocations. In addition to hosting events, evaluating and selecting applicants and participating in joint admissions and financial aid committee decisions, the Director will be responsible for developing and executing on a data-driven marketing and recruitment plan for the Institute. These responsibilities will require close collaboration and partnership with multiple stakeholders including MBA Admissions, Wharton Marketing and Communications and Wharton Financial Aid.

Job Description

The selected candidate will work directly with Wharton MBA Admissions leadership to set and meet targets. Responsibilities include evaluation and selection of applicants; data collection, presentation, analysis, and interpretation; hosting and presenting at admissions events; executing targeted marketing and recruitment strategies; and evaluating and planning annual marketing and recruiting efforts. The role will require data analysis and data-driven decision making to achieve desired admissions targets. Some domestic and international travel will be required as necessary.

Required qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in an admissions recruiting position; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred.

Ability to think and act strategically on recruitment, selection and yield efforts is required.

Interest and ability to work with data, analyze data and execute on a recruiting strategy based on data.

Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, especially public speaking skills.

Strong project management skills and attention to details.

Interest in working as team member in highly international environment.

Ability to set targets, pursue goals and improve processes.

Flexibility to work extended hours and travel as needed.

Ability to lift occasionally lift 25-50lbs.

Preferred qualifications include:

Master's degree.

Knowledge of professional school recruiting landscape for selective programs.

Experience with paid social media advertising and search engine optimization.

Experience in international and multi-lingual work environment.

Targeted Pay Range:

$87,000 - $97,000

This Targeted Pay Range is only applicable to this job posting. All salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
