The Assistant Director of Admissions and Enrollment Operations will manage all aspects of admissions and enrollment processes for the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. The incumbent will manage application review and verification, decisioning, matriculation, and other core functions of the admissions cycle. The Assistant Director will contribute to increased enrollment and a comprehensive data-driven admissions strategy by: a) overseeing the application processing lifecycle from application review to enrollment; b) implementing and maintaining the processes and systems needed to support data integrity, with a focus on process improvement; c) advising and counseling prospective graduate students; d) evaluating and assessing student applications to determine if applicant fits the desired student profile and whether the student is academically prepared for graduate study; e) participating in recruitment efforts, such as on- and off-site information sessions and yield events; f) ensuring compliance for all data related to student admissions and enrollment; g) supervising and training student and temporary employees to support admissions operations and review; h) managing the temporary staff budget and assisting with budget forecasting and development; i) serving as a Slate system administrator within the admissions team; and j) providing robust reports and dashboards with summaries, analyses and recommendations to the Director and Dean.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Master's degree in Public Administration, Education, Counseling, Analytics, or related fields is preferred.

Required Experience:
5+ years 4 - 5 years related experience in admissions, operations management, enrollment, or student services.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience in higher education, admissions, CRM systems, data analysis, and databases or the equivalent combination required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills. Expertise in systems that support application management, CRM, data reporting, online forms, and email marketing.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge or personal experience with graduate-level coursework is desired. Previous experience with educational databases such as Slate, Salesforce CRM, and Peoplesoft is preferred.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $98,000.
