*The Opportunity*
Embry-Riddle is now accepting applications for Director of International Admissions. This position is based at the Prescott campus. We are also offering the opportunity for remote work.
The Director of International Admissions is responsible for assisting in planning and conducting intensive student recruitment travel and leading the day-to-day internal international admissions processes, decisions and communications. In addition, this role is responsible for conducting market research and analysis regarding international recruitment trends, managing all international admissions agent agreements, leading the international admissions team, and assisting with international marketing and communication efforts. The Director of International Admissions will work closely with the Dean of Enrollment Management to plan and implement enrollment management strategies for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University including: setting semester recruitment goals, developing marketing and brand strategy, and determining the recruitment travel assignments. Also, this role is responsible for developing and enhancing external relationships with professional organizations, high school and college counselors, and international agents.
Responsibilities include:

* Planning and conducting international recruitment travel to represent the university at international recruitment events
* Conduct quarterly research on enrollment trends, economic impacts, and ERAU specific enrollment trends to inform our decision making process for international recruitment.
* Work closely with the Dean of Enrollment Management to determine semester recruitment travel decisions
* Conduct independent recruitment travel and small group recruitment travel
* Plan and conduct lengthy recruitment travel multiple times per year and sometimes in parts of the world which present challenging and quick changing logistics and political environments.

* Manage overseas agent agreements
* Manage the Agency MOU agreements for all three campuses and the negotiations between the university and the agents
* Serve as budget manager for the agent agreement payment budget
* Manage the relationship, training, and communication between the university and the agencies that represent the university in a variety of recruitment regions.

* Supervise, manage, evaluate, and coach the International Admissions Team
* Lead internal international admission processes, including communications and marketing efforts
* Day-to-day communication with our prospective international students, their families, and other decision makers including email, phone calls, face-to-face meetings.
* Assist with marketing and communication efforts regarding all recruitment-based communication documents, websites, and communication flows.

* Evaluate and improve office efficiency, participate in professional development opportunities, assist with budget management
* Office will be maintained on campus.This position will require extensive travel time away from the office. May work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
* Travel to represent the university at international recruitment events.
* Meet enrollment goals for the assigned target territory.
* Speak publicly to individuals, groups on and off campus.
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with key international school counselors.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of the recruitment and marketing plan
* Assist in the development, maintenance and execution of the department’s communication plan.
* Evaluate and execute admission decisions on applicant files
* Develop and monitor statistical reports to enhance recruitment strategies and yield management.
* Develop and maintain relationships with international agents and assure they are accurately representing the campus and university
Qualifications*Required Qualifications*
Knowledge of:

* International admissions.
* Good business practices.
* Thorough knowledge of F-1 visa immigration regulations, and Department of Homeland Security/SEVIS regulations, and of federal regulations relating to international students.
* Comprehensive knowledge of foreign educational systems.
* Information systems (i.e. Campus Solutions and Salesforce)
Skills and Abilities:

* Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff.
* Strong intercultural and interpersonal communication skills: strong relationship management skills.
* Extensive experience with enrollment management and planning and conducting extensive international recruitment.
* Highly independent decision making to respond both to changing and difficult circumstances that may arise while traveling, and to a variety of business opportunities that might present themselves while abroad.
* Relevant experience in sales, customer service, or marketing
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Cultural sensitivity, the ability to deal positively with the public using good public relations skills; effective listening skills
* Be willing to travel if needed, work evenings, weekends and possibly minor holidays
Education and Experience:

* Master's degree preferred. In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related work experience in international admissions will be considered.
* At least eight (8) years related work experience in customer service, sales, or related field with at least four (4) years doing extensive international recruitment in the higher education sector.
* Significant experience working with educational advising partners or agents outside of the United States.
