Job Description
Lexington Christian Academy in MA seeks a full-time Admission Counselor for an immediate start. This outward-facing role cultivates relationships with prospective families; informs them of the school’s mission, curriculum, program, and culture; and guides them through admissions and re-enrollment processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
ENVIRONMENT
Just outside of Boston, LCA is a grade 6-12, day and boarding, independent college preparatory school. By developing intellectual ability, nurturing spiritual and moral growth, encouraging creativity, and instilling a desire to serve God and others, we educate young men and women in the arts and sciences in the context of a complete commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. Competitive benefits package is also available.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- EXPERIENCE:
- demonstrated experience working in a global and/or multicultural environment.
- 1-2 years experience working in an independent school admissions office is preferred but not required.

- SKILLS:
- Superb communication skills and equally comfortable in one-on-one interactions and in small and large groups.
- Demonstrated strategic and long-range planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build consensus with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Good judgment, sense of humor, and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, students, staff and faculty, while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Comfortable using technology tools and software in the admissions and enrollment process
- Professional demeanor, as well as efficiency, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for meetings and events.
- Superb communication skills and equally comfortable in one-on-one interactions and in small and large groups.
