Salary: $21.26 - $42.43 hourly
Position Description:
Serve as initial intake advisor for office visits of non-immigrant students and scholars; provide initial advising for students and scholars on reporting requirements, policies and procedure necessary for compliance with visa and academic requirements; and manage the operation of the intake unit in collaboration with the supervisor.
The initial intake advisor also supports the international student (F-1) unit on visa matters for non-immigrant students visa status; reviews technical aspects of the visa for accuracy, completeness and compliance; conducts check-in sessions, seminars, workshops and perform visa system maintenance.
The initial intake advisor will also serve as a back-up Bruin-Buy preparer.
