The Associate Director of International Admissions is responsible for the recruitment, admission and enrollment of international students at The DAVE School. The ADIA is also responsible for organizing events such as student orientations, workshops, information sessions, and fairs. The ADIA will assist with the implementation of innovative and sophisticated outreach plans in support of the international admissions strategic direction and will implement recruitment, enrollment, admissions and orientation programs in order to meet performance expectations.

He/she will need to be an achievement-oriented, idea-generating enrollment professional that can meet performance goals as a writing ADIA.

Minimum requirement:
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Four years of professional full-time experience in higher education admissions with at least two years of that experience in international recruitment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Manage a geomarket/recruitment territory by actively traveling to high schools, two-year colleges, expos and agent fairs to recruit and meet with counselors, parents, and prospective students, attend college fairs, and maintain regular contact with prospects, applicants, agents and counselors.
  • Conduct dynamic presentations and effectively answer questions about admission and application requirements and processes.
  • Provide admission counseling and information sessions with visiting students and families, in person and in-group settings, and by telephone, virtual meetings, correspondence, and e-mail.
  • Serves as the key member of the Recruitment team, providing as needed Information Sessions to prospective students and their families, front-line customer service and advising in the Admissions Office lobby and school areas, and assistance in the evaluation of FTIC and/or transfer academic credentials.
  • Aid in public relations and general recruitment programs.
  • Travel internationally and domestically as required by the position.
  • Must remain current on campus academic programs, national and international admissions standards and policies, financing, status of campus and facilities. Possess and maintain current knowledge of animation and 3D entertainment industry and trends.
  • The ADIA will manage enrollment forecast models
  • The ADIA will coordinate with Executive Director to execute promotional events to increase enrollments
  • The ADIA will work on enrollment conversions, lead to appointment and show rate needed to meet goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Supervisory responsibilities:

Assist in the management and daily operations and recommend trainings to develop the skill set of individuals in the admissions team as needed

Competencies:
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to international recruitment.
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of staff, faculty, students, and the community in a service-oriented environment.
  • Have an established network of international educational agents, and potential school partners located in the Latin American, Asian, European, and Caribbean nations.
  • Persuasive communication skills, with an orientation toward results
