Here at Flatiron School, we craft our programs with care and look for students who are ready to pursue a rigorous, career-changing experience. You will be responsible for speaking with prospective students, communicating the value of a Flatiron School experience, and ensuring prospective students are prepared to succeed. Responsibilities:
  • Manage the student application process, including scheduling and conducting interviews, providing guidance to prospective students on our courses, communicating the value of a Flatiron School experience, and keeping applicants engaged and informed throughout the process.
  • Be the expert on Flatiron School's course offerings; answer questions from prospective students across platforms.
  • Achieve measurable results against a range of funnel management and activity metrics.
  • Track and report data on your pipeline of applicants.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams at Flatiron School to provide a seamless student experience.

Qualifications:
  • A strategic communicator. You are practiced at active listening and communicating clearly, and have experience in a remote sales or customer service setting.
  • Excited to speak with our diverse applicant pool. You are patient, personable, and can communicate with our diverse pool of applicants, from spinal surgeons to stay-at-home parents. You are as comfortable addressing large groups as you are speaking to prospective students one-on-one.
  • Highly organized and can manage time effectively. You know how to create a schedule and how to adapt when things deviate from the schedule.
  • A fast learner who can retain a lot of information. You are excited to become an expert on all things related to Flatiron School and to share your knowledge with others.
  • Data-savvy: You are able to spot patterns in student data and your day-to-day work, and to make recommendations or change your approach based on your observations.
  • Results-driven. You have experience managing a sales or recruitment funnel and can work to achieve quantitative goals.

Expected Compensation:
  • $55K - $60K annually
