Cambridge Montessori School seeks an Interim Director of Admissions to lead school wide enrollment management. The Interim Director of Admissions will report to the Executive Team and is a member of the Cambridge Montessori School Leadership Team. The Interim Director of Admissions will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Directing all aspects of admission and enrollment of new students.
Coordinating school wide retention initiatives and re-enrollment process.
Facilitating placement meetings.
Collaborating with all departments to best showcase the school.
Organizing and administering the program for financial aid.
Interviewing prospective families and overseeing the admissions decision committee.
Managing the admission budget, and producing admissions materials, publications and mailings.
Maintaining database records and compiling statistics on all aspects of school population, admissions and re-enrollment.
Representing the school at conferences and school fairs.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Executive Team

We seek an experienced, confident school administrator. The Interim Director of Admissions will work closely with the Executive Team, administration, faculty, staff, parents and trustees. Ideal candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and show strong support for the School's mission and Montessori education.

This position is for the 2022-2023 academic year through June. Salary is based on experience and background. The school offers a competitive benefits package.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in an admissions office at an independent school or similar institution
    Experience in a Montessori environment is desirable but not required
    Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
    CORI/SORI check will be required before joining our team
    Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination required
  • At least 5 yearsof relevant experience preferred
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
