JOB DETAILS
Mitchell Hamline School of Law is seeking to hire a full-time Director of Admission. The incumbent in this position will provide leadership in the development and implementation of the School's recruitment initiatives in alignment with the enrollment goals of the institution (i.e., analyzing of enrollment data to identify target populations for recruitment, evaluating market trends to advance the School's enrollment and recruitment strategies, and implementing a budget for student recruitment and other applicable expenses to maximize enrollment and recruitment needs). The Director will be responsible for the hiring, orienting, training and supervision of Admissions staff.

Prerequisite:
To be eligible for this position, you must have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or relevant field of study. Additionally, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education admissions, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience (i.e., management decision-making, team development, and operational functionality) in similar field.

- Master's degree of Higher Education Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or relevant field of study is preferred.
- Master of Law (LL.M.) or Juris Doctorate (J.D.) is preferred.
- Knowledge of higher education admissions requirements and administrative processes, including pre-admissions and post-admissions phases.
- Familiarity with general law school and LL.M. admissions criteria is preferred.
- Experience in producing successful outcomes through the development and implementation of enrollment and recruitment efforts, including establishment of diverse student population.
- Knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) relating to student information and record and can demonstrate experience in management and independent judgement of discreet and confidential information.
- Ability to leverage strong network and working relationship
- Connections to practicing attorneys, judges, and other members of the legal community is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel for recruitment, admissions, and other relevant School purposes.
- Effective communication skills including strong writing ability, superior interpersonal communication skills, and effective public speaking skills.
