Job Summary
Manages and administers E-value/Medtrics web-based platform used for academic assessment and programing of the DVM degree program 4th Year (clinical education). Functions include competency assessment, clinical skill logs, clinical rotation and instructor evaluation, student scheduling, and curricular mapping. Position is responsible for full implementation of program, problem solving all implementation issues, coordinating with clinical education faculty and staff to ensure compliance with assessments and student progress, primary contact between Purdue Veterinary Medicine (PVM) and platform support. Develop assessments for evaluation of student competency based on meetings with instructors of record ensuring that all approved assessment traffic rules are met. Review student and clinician evaluations to identify issues which need to be elevated to the academic deans. Ensure the timely submission of clinical rotation grades and submit all grades into Banner. Design platform generated reports to capture student progress, curriculum issues, and other information requested by the academic deans and faculty. Responsible for analysis of student outcomes data related the DVM degree curriculum. Communicate with external veterinarians concerning student assessments and experiences during their external clinical rotations. Assist with providing services for accommodations of pre-clinical courses. Serve as the Executive Assistant to Assistant Dean for Clinical Education.

- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills using formative assessment data
- Must be proficient and have a high level of technical skill using Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must be able to learn new online-based software and platforms independently and in a timely manner.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one-time independently while ensuring the highest level of detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively through excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

- Ability to use discretion and independent judgment to make sound decisions balancing facts, priorities, and possible outcomes.
- Ability to use discretion regarding when to involve the senior leader or Executive, when to resolve issues independently, or when to engage others.
Required
- Requires a BS/BA degree, will accept combinations of equivalent education and experience. Minimum of 1 year of office work required.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a collegiate academic setting preferred
