Position Summary

The Professional Program Student Affairs Coordinator is an integral member of the graduate program team. He or she provides support for SMP curricular and co-curricular activities and works with Olin students, faculty and staff.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with program leadership, faculty and students to ensure the professional delivery of SMP courses and co-curricular activities. This would include assisting with logistics and coordination of events, materials, course information, budget tracking and other items related to supporting SMP students and academic advisors.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of SMP Orientation sessions.
  • Serve as an academic advisor to approximately 40 degree candidates. Service as a liaison and be available to consult on course sequencing and major revisions.
  • Provide general academic, program, and university support for program priority areas and initiatives.

  • Extensive project management.
  • Experience providing services to working professionals.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent academic and student services.
  • High proficiency in the use of the Blackboard Online Learning System.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlines.
  • Operations management skills necessary to provide oversight and guidance for the production of large-scale programs and events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends when PMBA and EMBA courses are in session.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of time both domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.

G09-H

Salary Range

$22.25 - $34.45 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
