The Assistant Dean of Admissions and Enrollment serves as chief admissions and enrollment officer for NYU's School of Global Public Health, with responsibility for strategic planning initiatives and operational management of functions related to recruitment, admissions, enrollment, and financial aid for new, degree-seeking graduate students. Oversee the development and implementation of all recruitment, admissions, and enrollment policies, procedures, and systems. Responsible for all related administrative systems for recruitment, admissions, and financial aid. Coordinates with GPH communications office and external vendor(s) on recruitment marketing efforts. Develops enrollment forecasting models for new and existing programs; oversees analysis of enrollment data and prepares presentations and recommendations to GPH and University leadership. Serves on school committees and works with faculty as appropriate. Conceptualizes, plans, and executes recruitment and recruitment marketing, including digital and in-person efforts. Oversees digital communications such as program websites that contribute directly to admissions and enrollment.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree With higher education admissions and recruitment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience:
7+ years With higher education admissions and recruitment; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
7 years’ experience with university admissions and recruitment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills including ability to build strong relationships Ability to assemble and organize data. Public speaking skills. Ability to communicate complex information clearly to relevant stakeholders. Strong office management/project management skills Strong leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Strong writing and editing skills. Strong commitment to academic and personal integrity. Demonstrated conflict resolution skills

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Data fluency - familiar with best practices for the collection, storage, protection, and usage of high-quality enrollment data that can inform evidence-based decision making) Management - experience managing diverse staffs of employees so as to support their development and ensure high-quality progress towards the department’s goals Higher education leadership - demonstrated ability to represent the department and the school in venues such as Deans’ meetings, professional conferences, etc. Enrollment management - demonstrated understanding and practice of the principles of strategic enrollment management

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $100,000.00 to USD $150,000.00.
