Western New England University (WNE) is seeking a dynamic, student-centered professional who is excited to help assist with the strategic international recruitment efforts of all of the university’s international undergraduate and graduate students. 

WNE is set in the heart of New England and is the ideal place to learn, grow, and continue to do meaningful and fulfilling work in the international education field.

The Assistant Director of International Admissions will work under the supervision of the Director of International Admissions on the marketing, recruitment and admissions of both undergraduate and graduate admissions as well as the initial issuance of I-20s and DS-2019s. This person will also have the unique opportunity to travel around the world visiting with our agent partners, attending college fairs, and visiting local high schools to recruit new WNE students. 

The University is seeking a person who is detail-oriented, open-minded, compassionate, and honest in all matters of the role. The Assistant Director of International Admissions will have a commitment to supporting the fair and equitable treatment of all students and employees and will assist in the development of strategies that promote the University as an equitable and inclusive environment for all prospective students, families, current students and other faculty and staff. The position requires some experience recruiting international undergraduate and graduate students as well as a willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications:

Education - A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Experience - At least two years of professional experience in an Admissions Office is preferred. 

Licenses - Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required.

Ability to travel internationally.
