Overview

The Associate Superintendent, Special Education and Student Support Services maintains the primary responsibility for accelerating student achievement and ensuring equitable opportunities for students with disabilities, specifically overseeing Special Education compliance, student support services, instruction and student performance. This individual oversees the Department of Special Education and Student Support Services, supervising the Directors of Special Education and Student Support Services. The Associate Superintendent, Special Education and Student Support Services also supports the development of professional learning and mentoring of prospective instructional leaders.
