Flatiron School is a growing technical training and talent provider focused on empowering tomorrow's workforce through education. We are seeking a Director of Admissions to join our team. You'll oversee the team working with prospective students from the time they express interest in Flatiron School to the time they enroll in our program. You will provide leadership, guidance and accountability for Flatiron School's admissions team, in a role that is critical to our business, and to our learners: Every applicant will interact with your team before becoming a Flatiron School student.

Success in this role requires analytical and data-driven sales leadership plus senior management capabilities like coaching, training and performance management. You will be responsible for forecasting, funnel management, and enrollment strategy across Flatiron School's B2C business.

Responsibilities:
Lead, manage and direct a remote Admissions team to ensure consistent, high performance in all key sales funnel metrics for each team member.
Hire, train, and manage the team to staffing requirements. Oversee training and development for sales team members to drive product knowledge and sales best practices.
Forecast revenue, develop sales targets, and performance manage the team to KPIs.
Collaborate with cross functional leadership to strategize optimal recruitment strategies. Communicate regularly on enrollment pacing, and have a data-backed point of view on strategies and resources you will deploy to maximize enrollments.
Synthesize data and rely on your knowledge of sales best practices to recommend and execute operational changes. Work closely with Flatiron School's Marketing team to increase the prospect pool and manage success across targeting, messaging, and channels.
Collaborate directly and regularly with the Enterprise Sales team and Enterprise partners to recruit and enroll students for Enterprise programs.
Monitor legal and regulatory changes and maintain a working knowledge of state admissions policies to ensure Flatiron School maintains appropriate compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
5+ years' experience directly managing a sales or admissions team
Experience overseeing a high-volume inside sales operation
Strong customer service and sales background
Focused on achieving results against quantitative goals
Excellent relationship management skills, up, down, and laterally within an organization
Strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and excellent follow through
Ability to think critically and identify potential issues before they arise
Ability to challenge constructively and provide solutions.

Expected Compensation:
$120K-$130K annually plus bonus
