The JEC Lower School, a dynamic yeshiva day school in Elizabeth, NJ, is looking for a full time Director of Student Services for Primer-5th grade, who will lead a dedicated team of learning specialists and work together with faculty, administrators, and parents to guide, support, and foster individualized academic growth and success.

The Director of Student Services will
  • Oversee academic support for each of our students
  • Oversee regular benchmarking of student academic progress
  • Supervise learning specialists and support classroom teachers
  • Conduct classroom observations and monthly class progress meetings
  • Coordinate service and action plans with the Director of Guidance
  • Maintain communication with parents
  • Work with the Union County Educational Services Commission
  • Coordinate learning services from outside providers (e.g., OT’s, SLP’s, tutors etc.)


The ideal candidate is someone who is dedicated, a team player, and is passionate about differentiating for and supporting all learners.

Masters Degree in Education or a related field required.
