Essential Duties
Provides advice and information to students on short and long-term educational and career goals and on available University resources such as financial aid, fellowships, career services and educational programs. 2. Coordinates and oversees a range of processes and programs in such areas as admissions, financial aid, registration, placement, and career services. 3. Adapts and implements new policies and processes regarding specific areas of specialty; develops, recommends and implements solutions and corrections to policies and processes. 4. Assists in designing, recommending and implementing computer programs and systems for admissions, registration, career services, and financial aid. 5. Processes financial and other transactions, track data, generate and analyze reports. 6. Assists in the design and development of student publications, communications and program web sites. 7. Ensures all student services and student support functions conform to University policies and guidelines. 8. Monitors, maintains, and ensures accuracy of student records; monitor and track status of students. 9. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Position Focus:
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and also supporting the Office of Vocation and Leadership, the Student Services Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support and work to further offices' mission of supporting and forming students at Yale Divinity School (YDS). Serve as a first point of contact for students and other visitors to the Office of Student Affairs (OSA). Based on thorough knowledge of OSA functions, practices, and events, provide assistance to appropriate person(s) for assistance. Triage incoming student needs; assess immediacy of need and find the appropriate resources, effectively and efficiently communicate policies/procedures with student body. Using the relevant university systems and other reporting tools, responsible for expense processing for OSA functions and the Office of Vocation & Leadership, and documenting payroll for student workers. Work closely with business office on financial transactions/inquiries. Prepare documents in accordance with university policies and procedures and work closely and efficiently with a wide range of outside vendors. Assist in the work of the Associate Deans, managing their calendar of appointments, preparing materials as needed for meetings, helping to schedule meetings with members of the YDS community, and attending meetings as needed. Working with the staffs of OSA and Vocation & Leadership, assist in the support of programs, events, and meetings of student clubs, denominational groups, and administrative offices. Process expenses related to student organizations and events and in some cases help student leaders purchase the goods and services required for their events. Provide general assistance to students on using Yale Connect, the student platform for events. Working with the Office of Vocation & Leadership, maintain student portfolios, supporting and being in email contact with students and mentors, tracking portfolio progress and mid-degree consultation dates. Maintaining the database on intern sites. Additionally maintain a working list of volunteer opportunities, for both students and the wider YDS community's engagement with justice and non-profit work in New Haven area. Provide administrative support for programs and services and assist with logistical planning for school events such as Orientation, Commencement, and school-wide community events. Assist with the advanced planning of events under the department and student organizations, securing dates and key materials ahead of time. This may entail working with designers, creating appropriate flyers, advertising, and public relations outreach. Assist with regular correspondence, respond to inquiries, and collaborate in the preparation of communications to the YDS community. Serve as a member of the team, assisting where necessary in the completion of projects, tasks, and programs, including special projects as set by the Associate Deans and/or Directors.

Bachelor's Degree. Experience working across countries and regions, and fluency in more than one language.
