Advertised Job Summary
The Education Abroad Advisor is a professional position in the Education
Abroad Office, reporting to the Assistant Director of Education Abroad. The
advisor performs a variety of duties in support of the recruitment,
placement, orientation, and re-entry of UofSC students interested in
education abroad opportunities. The advisor supports the development,
implementation, and management of exchange, direct enroll, and cohort
programs and scholarships as well as curriculum integration and marketing
efforts in the Education Abroad Office of Global Carolina. Duties include
advising students about education abroad programs; researching potential
program options; working with academic units to identify opportunities to
incorporate education abroad into the curriculum; developing and
implementing outreach initiatives; and providing support for other projects
as assigned.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
