Responsibilities and Duties

• Coordinates course set up and scheduling for CE/WD areas
• Creates and maintains CE courses in the Jenzabar J1course inventory
• Serves as the primary contact person for CE student registration, add/drops, and withdrawals
• Serves as Texas Success Initiative specialist
• Maintains reports, data, and statistics related to specific assignments and tasks
• Inputs student grades into Jenzabar EX upon course completion, as necessary
• Serves as a SEVIS DSO for issuing M1 forms I20 as needed
• Provides support to KC PDSO and other DSOs in the management of the International Student program
• Contributes to a supportive, welcoming, active international student environment through activities and local outings.
• Assists end of term processes and contributes to THECB state reporting accuracy
• Serves as a cooperative and productive member of the Registrar’s Office team
• Serves on committees as requested
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

A minimum of a bachelor degree and 3 years of professional office experience. This position requires excellent organizational skills, computer expertise, attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a cordial, professional manner with diverse populations groups. The successful Community Education Coordinator is sensitive to student’s privacy and has a good understanding of the college’s continuing education programs, procedures, and higher education. Knowledge/experience with computers and data entry is a must.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
• No or very limited physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

  • Compensation for this 12-month position is $32,000-$36,000 dependent upon experience
