DEPARTMENTAL (45%):
  • Report on enrollment, trends, opportunities and projects to WorldStrides Management prepared to speak and act on data-driven opportunities for growth
  • Manage the identification, hiring, training and renewal of Veritas Mentors
  • Manage Veritas team members as needed
  • Organize and administer the payment of Veritas Mentors and instructors
  • Annually work with WorldStrides Management to update pricing model and program fees for Veritas programs
  • Manage Veritas' marketing & social media in coordination with WorldStrides' Marketing department including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Develop and refine ISA-Veritas marketing materials and resources (print and digital) that can facilitate discussions with university officials regarding partnerships or programming with Veritas
  • Maintain and optimize the Veritas Instagram and Facebook Page
  • Update and maintain the Veritas website content and design
  • Coordinate with enrollment management of ISA to ensure that all Veritas directory listings remain up to date and accurate
  • Research new programming trends and work with ISA General Manager to explore new program locations as needed
  • Coordinate new program development working with WorldStrides Management
  • Train Campus Partnerships, Enrollment Management and Student Outreach on Veritas programming and updates

Campus Outreach and partnership development (25%):
  • Develop a national strategy for marketing, outreach, recruitment and education for established Veritas partner institutions
  • Develop a comprehensive awareness and understanding of Veritas' US partner universities, including the needs, pain points, and priorities of the students, staff, and faculty regarding education abroad. Such an awareness will be developed tasks including but not limited to:
  • Student Focused Responsibilities:
  • Participate in student engagement and support activities, such as fairs and other recruitment activities, pre-departure orientations, re-entry support, and campus ministry/university presentations and collaborations
  • Assist Program Advisor team in student outreach by engaging interested students via email or virtual advising sessions
  • Assist with supervising undergraduate student Global Ambassadors
  • Campus Stakeholder
  • Provide education and training opportunities for education abroad staff, campus stakeholders and student organization leaders
  • New program development through affiliation agreements, program approvals, portfolio development, strategic & support programs, and other unique outreach initiatives
  • Maintain and expand Veritas's relationship with US partnerships by acting as an advocate for the universities within the organization, as well as an ambassador of Veritas within these partnerships and the profession as a whole
  • Communicate effectively with campus stakeholders and partners through phone, email communication and video conferencing as well as in face-to-face meetings on campus, at conferences and beyond
  • Play occasional roles in articulating bids, proposals, agreements and memoranda of understanding as necessary to solidify and define partnerships between U.S. universities and Veritas
  • Support health and safety incident management communications that go beyond the needs met by HS&S team, and the Manager and staff on call

ACADEMIC ALIGNMENT AND TEACHING (25%)
  • Veritas Course Instructor
  • Potentially teach Veritas online courses (HUM 490: Global Ministry Practicum and/or HUM 353: Comparative Religions) via WorldStrides' LMS, Schoology
  • Maintain regular communications with students over the duration of their courses
  • Communicate any student issues to the relevant teams (on-site staff, Academic Records, etc.)
  • Provide academic support to students as needed
  • Manage and oversee all Veritas courses in Schoology and liaise with WorldStrides Academic department to enroll students in courses
  • Identify, hire and contact Veritas course professors in cooperation with the WorldStrides Academics department.
  • Academic Partner Liaison
  • Serve as main point of contact for all communication with Veritas academic partner, California Baptist University
  • Work with CBU curriculum team to get course changes or updates approved
  • Provide CBU with Veritas course enrollment information, transcript request forms, final grade sheets, and any other information as needed
  • Veritas Academic Management
  • Oversee Veritas-specific academics, improving syllabi, courses offered, coursework, etc., under the leadership of the Veritas Product Lead and WorldStrides Academics department
  • Engage academic alignment initiatives with Campus Partnerships team and/or partner universities
  • Liaise with WorldStrides Academics department on any CBU transcript requests
  • Advising Resource Development & Oversight
  • Assist with the coordination of the Academic Advising Guides
  • Manage academic information on the Veritas website

ENHANCING THE ISA-Veritas BRAND AND PRESENCE IN THE FIELD (10%):
  • Foster continual maintenance and improvement of Veritas's brand identity, perceived reputation in, and contributions to, the field of education abroad through the following:
  • Strategic engagement with professional member organizations and special interest groups (e.g. IIE, NAFSA) as executive management deems appropriate through:
  • Active membership
  • Engaged conference attendance including presenting conference sessions, collaborating on webinars, engaging with their social media, special interest campaigns, and possibly collaborative research
  • Management of relationships with key organizational stakeholders and decision makers on behalf of Veritas
  • Keep abreast of trends, research, and activities of the competition within the field; reporting those trends back to other Veritas stakeholders and members of WorldStrides Management, informing Veritas program development and business development strategies
  • Determine target aspirational schools with which Veritas does not presently collaborate, then develop and pursue a strategic plan to foster these relationships

Other Responsibilities, Projects, and Misc. (5%):
  • Manage one or more special projects
  • Serve the Health Safety, and Security department in a support role as team member on-call about once to twice a year
  • Other additional duties as assigned
  • Travel as necessary to achieve success in all the above.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Study/work/intern/volunteer abroad experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Global travel experience, education abroad experience preferred
  • Supports the mission and values of Veritas Christian Study Abroad
  • Experience in ministry-related work
  • Proven ability to work well with others under minimum supervision

Desired Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in international education, higher education, or education related industries
  • 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, and/or Sales
  • Master's or another post-graduate degree
  • Fundamental understanding of the following trends in International Education: Curriculum Integration & Development, Higher Education Internationalization, Global Mobility of Students at the Post-Secondary Level, Best Practices in International Education (Programs & Program Providers) and Diversity in International Education
  • Proven success with public speaking, networking, relationship building and working with a diverse set of professional contacts
  • Willingness and ability to embrace change and adapt in an innovative environment
  • Attention to detail and desire to learn new aspects of the International Education field
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in teaching, academic support, or student success initiatives
  • Be qualified for approval by Veritas' academic partner, California Baptist University, to teach Veritas courses
