Position Title: Assistant Director of Admissions Department: Administration

Classification: Exempt/Full-Time Reports To: Director of Admissions/ Head of School

Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Admissions reports directly to Director of Admissions and to the Head of School and is responsible for all student recruitment, including all relevant testing and management of the admissions process. This individual works closely with other members of the administrative team, including the Business and Facilities Manager on enrolling students and the Director of Development and Communications on marketing strategies.

Job Duties:
  • Oversight and implementation of marketing strategy for student recruitment.
  • Engagement with prospective students and their families for admissions visits and interviews.
  • Planning and implementation of Open House events.
  • Attending school fairs as a representative for the school.
  • Preparation and administration of annual enrollment projections as well as student recruitment budgeting in collaboration with the Director of Admissions.
  • Facilitating admissions testing and document collection.
  • Management of student enrollment files.
  • Establish and maintain an effective system for enrollment processing from inquiry to acceptance, including engagement with the school’s student-integrated system (SIS), Blackbaud Education Management.
  • Manage enrollment process for international students and engagement with SEVIS.
  • Collaboration with Registrar and Academic Dean to schedule and assimilate new students.


Minimum Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree

Previous Related Experience: Admissions experience preferred; Experience with Blackbaud Education Management preferred but not required.

  • Ability to maintain confidential and positive working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, parents, students, school and community organizations, and the public.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personable nature and ability to engage confidently with prospective students and their families.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, budget development tools, and technology related to communication and data analysis.
  • Compliance with all job requirements and conduct as stated in the Faculty/Staff Handbook.
  • Agreement with the CSD Doctrinal Statement and School Mission and Vision.
  • This is a full-time, exempt position requiring some weekend and evening recruitment events.
  • Working at a desk and computer as well as frequent activities requiring physical exertion, including but not limited to standing, kneeling, crouching, bending, exercising, and driving.
