Oversee all matters relating to the day-to-day operations of the Office of Student Affairs in conjunction with the Dean of Students. Offer counseling to students, particularly the J.D. population, on a variety of personal and academic concerns. Serve as an administrative liaison to 90 student organizations, planning events, building community, adhering to budget. Collaborate with Student Affairs events team to develop and implement programs that will contribute to the students' personal and professional development. Assist with planning and management of major events: Fall Ball, Spring Fling, Barrister's Ball, Orientation and Convocation and intellectual life programming. Supervise, train, and evaluate staff. Assist with operations for journals and moot court board. Serve on University and Law School committees.

Required Education:
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) or comparable degree

Required Experience:
5+ years relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience in student services or related area including client services, project management, events planning, supervising staff, budget administration, and experience with contracts.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (written and oral) skills. Strong client relations, problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work with people at all levels.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $72,000.00 to USD $102,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
