Job Responsibilities

The Registrar's Office has an immediate need for a Student Records Coordinator. The Student Records Coordinator is primarily responsible for updating enrolled students' majors, advisor changes, and students' academic catalog terms for the college. This includes adhering to policies and procedures related to significant and academic catalog updates, proper data entry in the student records database, record retention using the document management system, reporting, and communication. This position also advises students, faculty, and staff on effective change procedures and policies. Assists with other office activities as needed.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills required. Must understand the concept and operation of computerized database sysems, word processing software, and document management systems such as Colleague, Etrieve, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must have ability to prioritize, be detail oriented, able to self-manage, and maintain confidentiality. Have the ability to train and supervise student personnel. Must manage multiple priorities and work independently within time framework provided by the Associate Registrar. Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion. Must have extensive knowledge of Registrar's Office policies/procedures and time management.
