Job Details
Colorado State University is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of PLACE (Programs for Learning Academic and Community English). The Assistant Director is primarily responsible for the Intensive English Program offered by PLACE. This includes mentoring and observing PLACE faculty in best practice, ensuring that curriculum and co-curricular activities are of a high quality and relevant to student needs, and designing and implementing new curricula and curricular components with the faculty. The Assistant Director will also play a role in maintaining CEA accreditation for the IEP. Beyond the curricular aspects of the IEP, the Assistant Director will be responsible for other student-facing components, such as addressing academic and behavioral concerns. The Assistant Director serves as a member of the PLACE administrative leadership team, supporting the Director in identifying and achieving strategic goals, and representing the IEP program to CSU and external constituents.
This is a full-time administrative professional position based in Fort Collins reporting to the Director of PLACE. The position works predominantly in person on the CSU campus with the potential for limited remote work.
