The Program Coordinator is an integral member of the Babson Collaborative team responsible for coordinating events; establishing or improving systems; enhancing member communications; and increasing member engagement. The primary areas of responsibility include: managing Collaborative operations; developing and executing a communication plan; and increasing member engagement with our platforms, programs and opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

  • Coordinates operations, communication, registration, customer service, promotion and database maintenance components of Collaborative programs including webinars, community conversations and the annual global summit.
  • Coordinates the annual Collaborative Global Student Challenge; including promotion and preparation; continuous improvement of materials, communications, criteria and format; and selection and preparation of judges.
  • Coordinates the Babson Collaborative Student Network, including recruitment and coaching, program development and collaborating with faculty advisors to improve student engagement across member schools.
  • Coordinates member recognition and special benefits including annual awards, Babson Academy scholarships, and the Collaborative visiting scholar program; promotes the opportunities, prepares materials, and manages submission and review and selection process.
  • Assists the Director in preparing materials and presentations for quarterly meetings of both the Collaborative advisory board, and the Collaborative application review committee; ensure timely follow-up and reporting to board and committee members.
  • Provides support to Member Interest Group (MIG) chairs; help them organize and promote meetings, ensure recordings and materials posted and shared in a timely manner, help them recruit new members.
  • Maintains strong relation with all champions; coordinate onboarding and annual progress meetings to help them engage their community with member platforms and benefits. Responsible for providing excellent customer service.
  • As needed, creates customized materials and presentations on the Collaborative for prospective audiences and for current members to promote the relationship with Babson and/or benefits of Collaborative membership internally.
  • Gathers relevant data and information to plan and deliver an engaging and relevant monthly member newsletter.
  • Works with Babson Academy and Youth Impact Lab teams when needed to deliver high quality educational programs.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

 

 

 

Associate’s Degree (prefer Bachelor’s Degree)

 

 

 

A minimum of 1-3 years of increasingly responsible relevant program management, including operations, communication, customer service, and database maintenance

 

 

 

Ability to work autonomously on complex tasks and continuously update and improve operations and communication processes

 

 

 

Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

 

 

Must have excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work

 

 

 

Must be resourceful, creative, and capable of handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines

 

 

 

Proficiency with Microsoft tools required.

 

 

 

Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and clients

 

 

 

Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

 

Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College’s insurer’s criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College’s vehicle training program within the first 30 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee’s driving record based on the College insurer’s criteria; and safety training as required by management.

 

 

 

Evening and weekend work may be required.

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE

 

  • Enthusiastic self-starter with strong organizational skill and attention to detail, motivated to work on projects with minimal supervision. 
  • Proficiency in more than one language is valued
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Publisher, Adobe suite and/or Canva, web and video editing tools preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Weebly, Airtable, WebEx and Zoom and other relevant business and marketing related programs helpful
