Position Details:
Title: District Student Services Facilitator
Placement (location): Student Support Program Building, White City, Oregon
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 215 days per year, starting immediately
Salary Range: $23.77- $33.81 per hour depending upon approved, previous full time experience in similar capacity
Closing Date: Open until filled, screening to begin asap
Description:
District Student Services Facilitator will focus on supporting students K-12 towards academic benchmarks, school attendance, social-emotional development, graduation, and career pathways. They will serve as community liaisons between schools, parents, community agencies, police authorities, and the court on individual cases that reach community-level interventions. This work will include examining data to identify students or subgroups that may require additional interventions. This position will be responsible for identifying and resolving barriers to that of students and families as they progress towards achievement and graduation. The District Student Services Facilitator will work throughout various K-12 schools in EPSD9 to enhance school/community collaboration. General Expectations:
The ideal applicant has demonstrated knowledge and skills in developing school-wide supports and interventions. Must desire to collaborate with other educators, parents, community resources, and students to track student progress. This position will require collaboration with school personnel to ensure students receive the necessary academic support to meet all academic benchmarks and graduation requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating ALL Students and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting. Applicants should have at least three years of work experience or education working with at-risk youth, i.e., juvenile justice, social work, correctional, social service, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Applicants who are bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
